How We Style Our “Throw On” Dresses:
When designing the dress, Adrianna and Alysha decided to name the dress the “Throw On” Dress because it is literally perfect for throwing on and living life. At Golden August The Label, we all love throwing our dresses on over a swimsuit to create a comfortable and cute beach outfit or throwing a knit sweater over the dress for those cool summer evenings we love so much. Especially as fall comes around the corner, pairing the dress with a sweater or jacket allows us to keep wearing the comfiest dress ever designed well into those cooler months.
For a truly summer-inspired outfit, we typically wear our “Throw On” Dresses with a simple pair of sandals that allow us to feel put together and cool on a warm day at the beach or walking around the city running errands. On cooler days, or days where we are in the mood for a slightly more edgy look, we love pairing our “Throw On” Dress with a pair of black combat boots like Dr. Martens, or any other black ankle boot.
